Child (14 and under) Assessment
For children 14 years and younger, the Nurse Practitioner will address current or new health concerns and/or medications, provide education and treatment plan. A nurse practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse with advanced education who provides personalized, quality health care to patients and families. NPs can diagnose, treat, and prescribe necessary medications. NPs can also order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging and refer to specialist if required. Appointment is NOT covered under Alberta Health and we are unable to direct bill insurance for this service. We encourage you to check your plans coverage.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
