A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive evaluation designed to determine the patient's capacity to perform physical demands. This evaluation involves a subjective assessment, a musculoskeletal evaluation, and a series of tests focusing on evaluating the patient's ability to execute specific movement patterns, positional abilities or job simulated tasks. The results of this assessment are used to determine the patient's functional ability and physical tolerances.
