Birth Partner and Labourer Birth Session - in person
This one-hour in person session is designed for the birthing parent and their birth partner. We review how the birth partner can effectively support the birther during labour and birth, including hands-on practice of supportive positions, strategies to help reduce the risk of perineal tearing, and guidance on how to advocate for the birther’s needs and preferences during labour.
Please note: To be eligible for physiotherapy insurance coverage, a physiotherapy assessment must be completed prior to this session.
