Assessment: Wheelchair/Scooter
This assessment is targeted towards clients experiencing mobility challenges who may require a wheelchair or scooter to support independence, safety, and participation in daily activities.
The initial assessment is completed to take measurements, review posture, and, typically, to assess the home environment. At the end of the assessment, the therapist will discuss their findings and recommendations.
No report or written summary will be provided. However, if written recommendations are requested instead of verbal, a Summary Report can be added. Please contact us for further details.
If the client would like to proceed with a wheelchair/scooter trial, a second visit would be arranged. The therapist will liaise with a vendor to ensure the trial wheelchair/scooter matches the client's measurements and postural needs from the initial assessment. Please contact us to discuss costs associate with the second wheelchair/scooter visit.
