A concussion rehabilitation assessment is a thorough evaluation conducted by Dr. David to understand the extent and facets of impairment and determine an individualized treatment plan and return to sport or work plan for those recovering from a concussion. The assessment typically includes a detailed review of the individual's medical history, the circumstances surrounding the injury, and an exploration of current symptoms and challenges. Dr. David may conduct neurological exams to assess cognitive functions, balance, coordination, and sensory perception. Cognitive assessments, such as memory and concentration tests, may be employed to gauge cognitive functioning. This comprehensive evaluation helps guide the development of a tailored concussion rehabilitation program, which may involve physical therapy, cognitive exercises, and gradual reintroduction to daily activities to facilitate a safe and effective recovery.

During an initial assessment with a patient, a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) expert would typically assess the following key areas: functional movement, swing mechanics, and injury history. Based on the findings from this assessment, TPI expert Dr. David would then develop a customized plan that may include golf-specific exercises, drills, equipment adjustments, and lifestyle recommendations to enhance the patient's golf performance while minimizing the risk of injuries.
