Please note: To be eligible for physiotherapy insurance coverage, a physiotherapy assessment must be completed prior to this session.

Please book this appointment after you have been successfully fit for a pessary and have been wearing your pessary for 2-3 weeks. We need to ensure your vaginal tissues are tolerating the pessary well. This is a 30 minute appointment and will be billed as physiotherapy follow-up.

This follow-up appointment with one of our Senior Pelvic Physiotherapists allows time for hands-on treatment, exercise progression, education, and addressing multiple concerns. When appropriate and with your consent, treatment may include an internal pelvic floor examination and/or treatment to assess progress and guide your care plan. These sessions are often recommended during the early stages of treatment to help you achieve your goals efficiently and ensure continuity of care. As your symptoms improve and you become more independent with your treatment plan, future appointments may be transitioned to 30-minute follow-up sessions when appropriate.

This appointment is for all new clients or those who have not attended an appointment within the past year. Your assessment will be completed by one of our Senior Pelvic Physiotherapists, who will take the time to thoroughly understand your concerns, complete a comprehensive assessment, and develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals. To help ensure consistent progress and timely care, we strongly recommend booking two follow-up appointments with the same practitioner following your assessment. As your symptoms improve and your treatment plan progresses, appointments may be transitioned to our orthopaedic program.

Before joining this level, all participants must complete an initial pelvic physiotherapy assessment (in person or virtual), along with a follow-up appointment, to ensure the program is safe and appropriate for your individual needs. This level focuses on reconnecting with your core and introducing functional strength to support your everyday movements. Participants must be at least 6 weeks postpartum.

This if for a 60 minute session which will consist of both a Scar Release Treatment using the Dolphin Neurostim and a 30 minute physio pilates session with our physiotherapy assistant Martha. Only book this if you have been assessed by our physiotherapists and they have designated this treatment as part of your individualized treatment plan.
