Walk & Talk Session with Bina the Therapy Doggo

Walk and Talk therapy is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates walking outdoors for nature assisted therapy while talking about issues and problem solving with your therapist during bilateral movement. It encourages a client to be more physically active for mental and physical reasons. Practicing mindfulness while in the outdoors enriches therapy outside of the traditional clinic setting can often be difficult to process emotions while sitting still for long periods of time. The result which has a positive impact on reducing anxiety, depression, pain, stress, intrusive thoughts, rumination, anger is an easy way to incorporate movement in to ones daily routine. Proceeds go to Bina's ongoing care and needs.

Most of the hour is spent talking through what’s been happening, how you’ve been reacting, and what patterns keep showing up — your counsellor asks questions, reflects things back, and helps you put words to it — so you leave with a clearer sense of what came up and what to keep noticing between sessions.
