This treatment uses the application of Hot and Cool stones during your massage session.
Hot stones are used to relax and warm up the tissue to achieve a deeper treatment. They are then followed by the cool stones which creates a vascular flush, detoxifying the body.
Cool stones are indicated with some chronic conditions such as MS, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and sports massages. The hydrotherapy can reduce pain and inflammation in the tissue to improve the outcome of your massage goals.
Registered Massage Therapy is an outcome based treatment. Your RMT will work with you to create a treatment plan based on your unique assessment and goals.
Consult, intake, assessment and charting time will vary by appointment and is included in every therapeutic treatment. This is included in your reserved appointment time. Therefore the time reserved for your treatment will not be solely hands-on.
